Who We Are

We’re a bunch of writers who regularly come across products, services and experiences in our everyday lives that we like, and decided we wanted to write about them.  After all, it’s what we do.  Cuts The Mustard is the result. 

What We Do and Why

What’s the difference between us and every other opportunistic review/recommendation site out there?  What we write is designed to both inform and entertain. 

What’s more, we believe in the products we ‘push’ – our primary motivation is to marry our love of writing with the joy, excitement, and/or appreciation that we get from the products, services and experiences that we write about.

If something moves us, we’ll post a blurb about it on here.  In our vernacular, if we’ve been ‘moved’, it means it Cuts The Mustard.

Do We Get Paid to Review the Products

Put simply, no.  Honest. 

That’s not to say that we don’t get paid – but if we do, we promise you’ll know about it.  You’ll either see a link to the seller embedded as text somewhere in the site (highlighted), or an advertising banner …  that looks like, well, an advertising banner.   It is, of course, up to you if you want to click on them … or go the sellers site direct.

Bottom line is … we hope you enjoy reading about the products, services and experiences we review here as much as we enjoyed using and reviewing them.  Happy reading.
